There's a New Girl in Town!

Back on April 24 we welcomed a new granddaughter to our family. Vanessa became grandchild number 5. My son Ken and his wife Erin now have three children. Big brother Dylan is 13 and big sister Cora is 15 months!

This is the quilt that I made for her. Love the colors.

Of course every new baby needs to have her own new sweater and blanket set to come home in. I love to knit for babies. I love the colors and knitting is perhaps the most relaxing of all my hobbies.

I am such a lucky Nana!

  1. This is so sweet! My mum is a quilter and she can't wait to find out the flavour of our next arrival so she can get stitching. Congrats on your new arrival.
